Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Team Leader will have responsibility for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of timber frame kits. Team Leaders will play a key part within the production process of the Timber Frame and Roof Trusses ensuring the build of pre-cut timber into various panels, gables, and trusses. Candidates must be willing to work on a 3 shift pattern (DS 7am-3:15pm, BS 3pm-11:15pm and NS 11pm-7:15am). Key TasksTimber Frame ProductionEnsure quality control systems and checks are appliedDirect responsibility for people management of the team recruitment, onboarding, training and performance managementDrive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the teamResponsible for health, safety, and wellbeing of personnel Ensure documentation relating to timber frame production and loading is accurateManage overtime, timekeeping, and attendance of the teamLiaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completedMaximise throughput of all material in an efficient mannerSkills ProfileExperience of timber frame manufacturingExperience of leading/supervising team in production environment Strong analytic/problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.Dependable, flexible Flexible approach to working.Enthusiastic & self-motivated and ability to motivate the team.Results driven whilst participating in a team environment.
