Company DescriptionParallel Parliament is transforming the political monitoring industry through a technology platform that makes live, comprehensive political intelligence accessible to businesses and organizations of all sizes.As a fast-growing startup, this is an opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping both the company and the market it operates in.Role DescriptionParallel Parliament is hiring its first Sales & Marketing Lead to build the company's commercial function from the ground up.This is a hands-on, founding role suited to someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to design, test, and scale sales and marketing activity rather than inherit an existing system. You will own the full sales cycle, develop outbound and inbound campaigns, and establish the foundations for a future sales and marketing team.The role is fully remote, with occasional travel required for conferences and industry events.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle from inbound interest through to closeDesign and execute outbound sales and marketing campaignsDevelop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategyBuild and manage a sales pipeline and CRM processesRepresent Parallel Parliament at conferences and industry eventsLay the foundations for a scalable commercial team as the company growsAbout YouProven experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles (startup experience a plus)Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environmentStrong interest in politics, public affairs, lobbying, or political monitoringConfident communicator with relationship-driven sales instinctsMotivated by ownership, ambiguity, and building something from scratchRemuneration£40–60k base (DOE) + uncapped commissionMeaningful equity available for the right candidate as the role develops
