New England Biolabs (NEB) is hiring an experienced paralegal with a focus on preparing, reviewing, and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements, and various contracts. The role supports corporate compliance, governance, and international business, and is based at our Ipswich, MA headquarters. Primary Responsibilities:Draft, negotiate, and administer legal agreements, including confidentiality and commercial agreements. Evaluate and monitor contract performance for amendments, extensions, and compliance. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and align business objectives. Assist in projects related to corporate compliance, governance, and international business. Required Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc). At least 7 years of experience or equivalent in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience as a Paralegal or Contracts Specialist; Senior Contracts Specialist preferred. Ability to understand contract scope, terms, and implications on the company's bottom line. Creative problem-solving skills and process improvement experience.
