Trailer Technician / Fitters (Skilled and Trainees with relevant mechanical experience) - SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full-service trailer specialist providing comprehensive maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs. Joining us means becoming part of a company that values excellence, teamwork, and ongoing development.Company benefits include:Competitive Salary: Skilled fitters can expect a base salary of around 38,000 per annum depending on experience, with realistic potential annual earnings of 45,000+Other benefits:Double time pay for all non-rostered overtimeHoliday pay calculated on average earningsIncreased holiday entitlement with length of serviceAnnual performance-related bonusAs a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll be responsible for:Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as requiredPreparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspectionsAttending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs or servicing at customer sitesPerforming trailer checks and repairs at the quaysideFollowing company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulationsWorking efficiently, responsibly, and to a high professional standardA C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required)About you:As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll bring relevant mechanical or engineering skills and ideally have prior experience in a similar role. Reliability, good time management, and the ability to perform well under pressure are key. A full driving licence is required.We also welcome Trainee Fitters or those looking to grow within a mechanical environment. With the right background and attitude, we'll provide full support and training to help you develop your skills.
