Our client is mid-way through a 10 million fire safety improvement programme across a portfolio of 7,800 homes and 15 sheltered schemes ? and they need the right expert to lead it.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.This is a senior, high-impact role with real influence, a significant budget and the opportunity to shape fire safety strategy from the ground up.What You'll Be DoingActing as principal Duty Holder for fire safety across the entire housing portfolioLeading and developing a team of Fire Safety SurveyorsManaging a 10m improvement programme, supplier contracts and procurementDeveloping and implementing fire safety strategies, policies and site-specific plansConducting and overseeing Fire Risk Assessments across all propertiesServing as the primary liaison with Suffolk Fire and Rescue ServiceEnsuring full compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022Reporting performance to senior management and elected membersWhat We're Looking ForRelevant fire safety qualifications (IFE, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 FRA or equivalent)Proven experience in a senior fire safety role, ideally within social housing or the public sectorStrong knowledge of current fire safety legislationExperience xjdpvnf managing budgets, contracts and multi-disciplinary teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe PackageCompetitive salaryCareer average pension schemeGenerous holiday 'sick payHybrid & flexible workingFree gym 'swimming membershipCycle scheme, parking & travel discountsEmployee Assistance ProgrammeExcellent CPD & development opportunities
