Senior Surveyor

We are recruiting a Senior Surveyor to join a well-established social housing group based in Suffolk.As a Senior Surveyor, you will act as one of the Building Surveying Managers, accountable for the delivery of multiple workstreams while leading and developing a team of apprentice and qualified surveyors.In thisposition, you will undertake a mix of hands-on surveying and management responsibilities, ensuring performance targets and service standards are consistently achieved for a competitive salary of 50-51,500 annually.Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Senior Surveyor key responsibilities include:Acting as a Senior Building Surveyor delivering a full range of Building Surveying servicesManaging and mentoring a team of surveyors and apprentice surveyorsEnsuring all performance and service targets are met across the Building Surveying serviceDeveloping staff to reach their full potential through leadership and supportEnsuring all activity is completed to required professional and organisational standardsSurveying work will include (but is not limited to):Housing defect surveysManaging damp and mould in line with Awaabs LawParty wall agreementsTenant own improvementsDisrepair claimsBoundary wall disputesEnergy Performance Certificates (EPCs)Improvements and planned surveysDesigning and specifying worksProject management and feasibility studiesStock condition surveysManaging an adaptations serviceYou will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for delivering the best possible service to tenants at all times. xjdpvnf The successful Senior Surveyor will have:A degree qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional organisationSignificant qualitative experience in Building SurveyingDetailed knowledge of Building Surveying practices and Building RegulationsThe confidence to lead teams and manage complex workloadsWhats on offerSalary: 50-51,500 per annumWorking pattern: 5 days a week, onsiteA senior leadership opportunity within a respected social housing organisationIf youre a Senior Surveyor looking for a role with real responsibility, people leadership, and meaningful impact, this could be the perfect next step.
