Property Damage Solicitor - Subrogated Recoveries

Are you a talented insurance lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting for a Tier 1 ranked Legal 500 law firm within their Property Risks & Coverage team looking for motivated individuals to join their Recoveries division.In this claimant-focused role, you’ll manage a caseload of household and commercial property recovery claims, typically valued between £10,000 and £100,000, with opportunities to handle high-value claims exceeding £100,000. The work spans a variety of perils including fire, flood, impact, and product liability, on behalf of leading insurers.What You’ll Be Doing:Reviewing and reporting on new instructions, including funding considerationsInvestigating liability and evidential issuesManaging disclosure and evidence reviewInstructing counsel and expertsDrafting legal documents and correspondenceAttending conferences, mediations, and trialsEngaging in settlement negotiations and preparing Part 36 offersConducting advocacy (telephone and in-person)What We’re Looking For:Experience in property litigation (defendant or claimant)Strong understanding of household and commercial recoveriesConfident managing your own caseloadExcellent attention to detail and ability to prioritiseComfortable using case management systemsStrong interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagementWhat’s in It for You:Competitive salary 25 days holiday (plus buy/sell options)Private Medical Insurance Health Cash Plan & 24/7 GP accessCritical Illness & Income Protection coverPension schemeApply in the strictest of confidence online and or via telephone – there is no need for a CV for an initial conversation.
