You’ll take the lead in managing the delivery of high-quality patient dining and retail services – ensuring food quality, safety, and service standards are consistently upheld.This is a fast-paced, client-facing role with plenty of variety – ideal for someone who thrives in a complex environment where quality of service and people leadership are paramount.If you're ready to take the next step in your catering career and want to lead a passionate team delivering vital services in a hospital setting, we want to hear from you!What You'll Do:Lead, motivate and develop catering and retail teams to deliver an outstanding serviceOversee patient feeding services and retail catering to ensure consistency, efficiency, and qualityCollaborate closely with domestic services to manage meal service delivery on wardsManage all aspects of food provision, stock levels, labour costs and budgets in line with Sodexo policyEnsure all legal, safety and food hygiene standards (including HACCP) are adhered toConduct audits, deliver training, manage complaints, and drive continuous service improvementLead with innovation to reduce waste and improve customer satisfactionOperate and manage the patient menu system (Saffron) ensuring up-to-date and accurate dataWhat You Bring:Proven experience managing catering services in a healthcare or service-led environmentStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train, inspire and manage teamsSound knowledge of food safety legislation, Health & Safety regulations, and HACCP systemsAbility to work flexibly and respond to a 7-day operational serviceExcellent IT and reporting skills, with an analytical mindset to monitor and improve service deliveryStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and complianceWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
