Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. This will be a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexi working hours and potential overtime available.Key Responsibilities and Authority:• Promote safety-at-work in accordance with the company, Client and Legal requirements.• Responsible for communicating and ensuring all integrated management systems adherence.• Follow and promote organisational IMS policies and procedures in compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other legal requirements.• Participate in HSEQ training or other identified training and personal development.• Establishes standards and procedures to track and measure project's progression.• Evaluates the designated region, identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance.• Evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development.• Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job.• Ensure the work environment is tidy, at all times.• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and are free from defects.• Organise and control (delivery deadlines) the products to customer’s requirements.• Interface between client and operations team to deliver customer requirements.• Prepare all paperwork and certification required for product sales.• Follow all necessary operating procedures and guidelines.• Sourcing of company equipment as required to support the business.• Assist in establishing stock control parameters.• Deliveries and collections as required.• Ensure the tracking of all equipment and resources.• Provide leadership and support of personnel to deliver a quality team performance in pursuit of the company and Client objectives at all times.• Ensure that all equipment used in support of company operations is fit-for-purpose, compliant with Client specifications and is correctly certified - and that valid certification is maintained throughout.• Ensure working knowledge of all company HSEQ policies and procedures appropriate to the effective management of this area of the business.• General workshop duties.• Follow company job cards.• Follow company policies & guidelines.• Keep workshop timesheets up to date on all jobs.• Financial and project tracking to ensure all works are completed on time and budgets are met.Main Responsibilities:• Assist with any customer and / or third-party tasks.• Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job.• Perform any other duties as directed by the COO & Managing Director.• Ensure workshop staff are supervised and understand company objectives.• Expected to be a team player who is actively working in the workshop and on the tools at least 70% of the working day.• Assist with Forklift when required.Person Specification: Key Competencies, Skills, Experience and/or Training Requirements:• Time served Mechanic with certificates of training to back this up.• Semi-skilled Mechanic (depending on the needs and requirements of the business) with certificates of training to back this up.• Supervisory experience in Workshop / Manufacturing environment or willing to work towards.• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.• Valid Passport• Valid UK Driving Licence • High degree of technical execution experience.• Customer focused and innovative solutions provider.• Continuous self-developer• Positive and effective team player and leader.• Visible desire to achieve and for others to do so.• Innovative and dynamic.• Leadership and supervisor ability.• Develop team members’ capabilities in support of individual career goals and team objectives.If you have relevant experience and may be interested, please apply and your CV will be reviewed.
