Join the Operations & Maintenance team at Immingham Power Station and play a key role in maintaining one of the UKs leading energy sites.Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, youll take ownership of a range of mechanical maintenance activities from planning and executing work to managing contractors and delivering high-quality, safe, and cost-effective maintenance solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering safe, reliable, and efficient mechanical maintenance across the power stationPreparing method statements and risk assessments for planned worksManaging contractors and supervising during plant overhauls and inspectionsSupporting 24/7 operations, ensuring maintenance plans are achieved safely, on time, and within budgetTaking a proactive approach to fault diagnosis and problem-solvingContributing to process safety KPIs, budgets, and cost managementProcuring services and materials within company policies and standardsMaintaining excellent communication and reporting standardsOccasionally travelling to other UK Thermal sites as requiredWhat were looking for Experience in the maintenance of a CHP plant or within a large-scale process industryEducated to HNC standard in an Engineering DisciplineStrong computer literacy skillsWorking knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislationFocused on achieving results and keen to develop skillsSelf-motivated with a flexible, can-do attitudeExcellent communication, organisational, and time management skillsAbility to analyse and diagnose problems logically under pressureA commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with othersDesirable:IOSH /NEBOSH Entry Level QualificationDemonstrated team working skillsKnowledge of budgets and contract managementExperience in the principles of safe working and compliance with HSE legislationWhy Join VPI?Known for our ability to think and act fast using our energy intelligence, our mission is to enable the energy transition by providing the power we need today and tomorrow Whether youre an experienced professional or looking to grow, VPI provides structured development pathways.
