Machine Operative - CNC Ilminster | 15 - 18 per hour DOE plus Shift Allowance | Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Machine Operative (CNC) to join a well-established and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in a supportive environment, with ongoing training and potential for long-term progression. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision parts. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to programme machines accurately. Make necessary adjustments to machines and existing programmes to meet specifications. Maintain and clean equipment as required. Carry out tests on finished components to ensure quality standards are met. Accurately complete and update production records. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience operating CNC machinery, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and correct defects. A proactive and reliable approach to work. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
