This role is ideal for someone passionate about building strong relationships between school, families, and the wider community. Job Overview:As a Family Liaison Officer, you will act as the key link between the school and parents, ensuring effective communication and providing support on issues such as attendance, behaviour, mid-term admissions, and student welfare. The successful Family Liaison Officer will also work closely with the pastoral team to improve engagement with hard-to-reach families. Key Responsibilities: Oversee communication between the school and families. Conduct attendance and punctuality review meetings with parents and students. Support families of EAL and disadvantaged students through workshops, coffee mornings, and one-to-one sessions. Assist with mid-term admissions and integration of new students. Run mentoring groups to improve behaviour and well being. Promote high standards of attendance and behaviour in line with school policies. Requirements: Experience working in a school or youth support environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to engage with families from diverse backgrounds.
