Vehicle Technician - MOT Tester

Job Description Are you a fully qualified Vehicle Technician living in the Hyde area?Do you have experience working on a variety of makes and models.Would a salary of up to 40,000p/a be of interest to you?If so, read onThis is a full time, permanent position working 45 hours per week, working 8am 5:30pm. Saturday mornings are on a rota basis The Vehicle Technician role:Youll be working in an independently owned and highly regarded workshop where the environment is warm and friendly. The workshop is busy, never short for work with a large number of repeat customers, mainly due to the quality they have delivered in the past.First time fix is more important than manufacture suggested time frames. completing service, maintenance and repairs to LCVs and Vans to manufacture agreed timescales. These are sensible time frames, not those picked from thin air.The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)Routine (and preventative) maintenance, General service MOT preparation, repair and correctionDiagnosis and rectification on more complex repairsRequirements:Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.Full, clean driving licenceMOT Licence would be advantageousAdditional accreditations such as an EV qualification would be desirable,Position Recap:Vehicle Technician VacancyLocation: Hyde areaMonday to Friday.
