Successful candidates will have prior experience in extrusion with a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of extrusion processes. Responsibilities:Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production specifications and safety standards.Install, align and adjust extrusion dies, moulds, screws and tooling as requiredPerform machine changeovers for different product types or materialsMonitor product quality and machine performance during runs; make necessary adjustments.Diagnose and resolve mechanical or material issues during productionRecord production data, including material usage, waste and machine settingsClean, lubricate and maintain machinery and toolingWork closely with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to meet production targetsFollow all health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPEAssist in training new team members or operators Experience Requirements:Prior experience in extrusion or manufacturing (3-5 years preferred)Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of extrusion processesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsBasic math and measurement skills (use of callipers, micrometers etc)Good communication and teamwork skillsPhysically fit and able to lift materials and stand for long periods of timesWillingness to work shifts and overtime when necessaryForklift certificate desirable Key Words: Extrusion Setter, Extrusion Operator, Extrusion Technician, Process Setter, Process Technician,Plastics, Profile ExtrusionFOOTERDue to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
