Deputy Manager

Location: Liverpool, L36 Salary: 16.83 per hour + sleep-ins (60 each 10 per month) Hours: Full-time, 162.5 contracted hours per month Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking for your next step? Our client, a trusted childrens residential care provider with over 25 years experience, is seeking a Deputy Manager to support their Liverpool home. The Role: You will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily running of the home, leading a team of dedicated staff, and ensuring young people receive the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day management Supervise and mentor residential staff Help organise staff rotas, activities, and resources Ensure compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards Promote positive outcomes for young people with complex needs Requirements: Experience in residential childcare, ideally in a supervisory role Knowledge of EBD, SEMH, and other complex behaviours Leadership and organisational skills NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care (Level 5 Leadership desirable) Benefits: 16.83 per hour Sleep-in pay: 60 per shift 10 per month 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays NEST pension scheme TPBN1_UKTJ
