c£112k per annum dependent on skills and experience 37 hours per week Permanent Location: Huntingdon - hybrid working 2/3 days per week in the office we would be grateful if previous applicants did not re-apply Are you a strategic technology leader with a passion for operational excellence and digital transformation and looking to be part of our Senior Leadership Team? We're looking for a Head of Infrastructure and Operations to safeguard and advance the operational performance, stability, reliability and resilience of Anglian Water's digital estate. You'll drive innovation, automation and continuous improvement across hybrid environments, while shaping the future of service management and digital engagement. In this role, you will: Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day digital operations, including budget costs, of infrastructure, digital workplace and service managementDrive operational excellence of digital and data services, owning key operational measures and ensuring all SLAs are achievedEnsure operational stability, resilience, service predictability, and performance across digital and data platformsOversee capacity planning, disaster recovery, patching, and the management of technical debtDevelop and embed best-practice service management processes (ITIL-aligned)Manage outsourced service providers and ensure delivery to agreed SLAsCollaborate with Product, Technology and Cyber Security teams to align on delivery and riskFoster a high-performing, inclusive team culture and support career developmentChampion health, safety, and wellbeing through our "Safer Every Day" initiativeWe're looking for someone with : Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture, hybrid cloud environments and service operationsProven leadership in managing complex IT and OT environments and driving operational excellenceStrong knowledge of service management best practices ideally within an Agile, DevOps and Product Management environmentExperience in vendor management, contract governance and strategic sourcingA collaborative leader with strong influencing, communication, and change management skills with the ability to build strong partnerships across all stakeholder groupsCommercially astute with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovationExperience with Lean, DevOps, or similar methodologiesExpertise in disaster recovery, business continuity and cybersecurity alignmentA track record of delivering digital optimisation, operational and service excellenceAs a valued employee, you'll be entitled to: 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (with flexibility for religious holidays)Car AllowancePersonal private health careLife cover - 8x annual salaryCompetitive pension scheme - we double-match your contributions up to 6%Annual bonus scheme and lifestyle benefitsWhy Join Us?
