Estates & Facilities 24,484 - 26,587 per annum, pro rata for part time Permanent Post 1 and 2: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Post 3: 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Post 4 and 5: 30 hours per week, 33 weeks per year We are seeking proactive, motivated, and professional Facilities Officers to join our dynamic Estates and Facilities Team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safety, security, cleanliness, and functionality of our campus environment, enhancing the experience for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide a high-quality service across a broad range of responsibilities, including building security, site safety, room setups for events, car parking management, cleaning and housekeeping, minor maintenance tasks, waste services, and environmental sustainability initiatives. Youll be part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to maintaining an exceptional environment for teaching, learning, and research. We offer development opportunities, training, and the chance to make a real difference in the university community. As Facilities Officer, you will have a Skills for Life English and Maths qualification or an equivalent standard (GCSEs at Grade E/2) or higher, and a full and valid driving licence. You will have basic IT skills including the use of email and other IT packages to deliver the role, as well as experience of working in a facilities, cleaning, or security environment, and working knowledge of Health and Safety including how to apply this in a working environment. Please note that there will be the requirement for post holders to be available for work and flexible during University VIP events, Open Days, and Awards Ceremonies.
