Quality Inspector - Engineering

Quality Inspector - Engineering Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire 14.39 per hour 37 hours per week We are recruiting on behalf of our engineering client for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Slaithwaite. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently and maintain high quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Detailed inspection of components including first off, sample and final inspections Goods inward inspection of all outwork Checking raw materials against purchase orders Ensuring all gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated and maintained Recording defects and non-conformities and reporting to the relevant department Checking material certification against quality system requirements Identifying and reporting quality trends Effective communication at all levels Covering for other inspectors when required Carrying out in house training when needed Key requirements: Previous Quality Inspection experience within engineering preferred Good understanding of calibrated measuring equipment Able to work independently and use own initiative Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ideally based locally to Slaithwaite TPBN1_UKTJ
