Job DescriptionTitle: Logistics CoordinatorLocation: HuddersfieldSalary: Circa 33,000Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing manufacturer based in Huddersfield as they look to recruit a Logistics Coordinator.The business which has recently expanded its operations in Europe, has ambitious plans to double in size over the next couple of years and this newly created role will be key in helping the business achieve this.Key duties of the Logistics Coordinator will include: Support Sales with lead time estimates during quotingEnsure Engineering meets deadlines and verify part setup dataSupport the Supply Chain Manager in procurement and inventory management, ensuring timely material deliveries and accurate stock control via the ERP systemCoordinate with the Logistics Manager on domestic and international shipments, including preparation of compliant documentation for the transport of hazardous materialsMaintain all material compliance records, including COSHH assessments and Certificates of Analysis, in accordance with regulatory and company standardsEnsure full adherence to legislative and procedural requirements for importing, exporting, and storing dangerous goodsAccurately record all goods movements through the ERP system to maintain traceability and support audit readinessLiaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers to ensure smooth, compliant transit of goods across bordersKey Skills & Experience required:Experience in a Manufacturing environment / organising transport of dangerous goodsPrevious European logistics experienceSAP experience (desirable)Excellent organisational skillsIf you would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, then please get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now.
