Here at Cordek Limited, we are looking for an individual to join our production team who shares our Company values, Honesty, Communication and Respect.Job Summary:The successful individual will work as part of a team and will operate the moulding plant machinery to produce our products to the standards required.Responsibilities:Operating the pre-expander to fill the EPS silo capacity to maintain material supplyOperating the moulding machinery to meet customer demand and maintain Kanban levelsCalibration checks on the products, recording output and quality dataCarrying out mandatory safety checks on the machine including daily maintenance and housekeeping duties to 5S standardsMonitoring the safe operation of the steam plant and its boiler safety systemsSafely managing the water treatment and chemical testing, awareness of the plant room operation, boiler operation and start up and shutdown proceduresWorking to Lean Manufacturing Standards and process controlsYou would also be responsible for all safety systems, reactive maintenance, breakdowns and risk management and have a high level of EPS processing knowledgePersonal specification:Team playerGood written and numerical skillsGood communication skillsDisciplined to work to written procedures without deviationFlexible on working hours and able to work alternating shift patterns.Honest and respectfulQualifications and experience:Knowledge of health and safety regulations would be beneficialForklift licence would be beneficial although full training will be providedFull UK Driving licenceRewards:Annual performance bonusMembership of the Company Group Pension Scheme after 1 years serviceMembership of the Company Group Life Assurance after 1 years serviceFull access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)25 days annual leave (excludes bank holidays)One day of paid Birthday leave for the purpose of celebrating their birthday Please note, that because of where we are based, you are required to have your own transport.
