Electrical Test and Production Engineer Location: HorshamSalary: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum (DOE)Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week - with early finish on Fridays An exciting opportunity is available for a Electrical Test and Production Engineer to join our clients advanced manufacturing team. This role focuses on the design and development of test equipment, supporting in-process testing, creating test plans, and providing technical support to optimise production processes and resolve technical issues. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical bridge between Engineering and Production, improving build quality and minimising rework through effective in-process testingDeliver electrical and test support to address production issues and reduce delaysDesign and develop test rigs, fixtures, and equipment, supporting their selection and procurementDevelop and coordinate robust test plans/procedures to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirementsContribute to process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives across production operationsPerform fault finding on electromechanical equipment, identify root causes, and implement resolutionsSupport quality functions with inspection and investigation activitiesAssist with budget preparation and expense monitoringFacilitate staff training and knowledge transfer within production teamsOccasional travel for customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionMaintain strict adherence to health & safety and quality regulationsRequirements EssentialAt least 5 years experience in an engineering/test environmentStrong technical expertise in testing electrical/electromechanical productsCompetence in reading wiring diagrams and PCB schematicsExcellent IT skills and effective communication, both written and verbalBTEC or EquivalentDesirableExperience mentoring, supervising, or leading staffKnowledge of LabVIEW, PLC programming, and CAD design toolsFamiliarity with digital camera and video protocols Security Clearance: Applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance, requiring UK residency for at least five years, identity verification, and employment history checks.TPBN1_UKTJ
