Product Manager

A well-established distributor of is seeking an Product Manager to join their team. This company supplies a wide range of products to various industries. As a component Engineer you will be focused on managing product data, supporting technical queries, and maintaining accurate information within our MRP system. Product Manager responsibilities: Create and maintain part numbers and product files in the MRP system. Support Bill of Materials (BOM) setup and testing before handover to Production. Handle customer technical queries, especially for non-franchised components. Review customer drawings, identify suitable suppliers, and update MRP records. Keep product and supplier information up to date, including global distributors. Manage commodity codes and ensure accurate record keeping. Maintain a library of technical documentation, datasheets, and drawings. Support or lead product inspection activities when required. Ensure all technical data is properly logged and accessible to staff. Skills & experience required: Strong understanding of electronic or electrical components. Confident using MRP/ERP or technical data systems. Able to read and interpret technical drawings. Methodical, detail-focused, and proactive in keeping data accurate. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Good time management and ability to prioritise workload.
