Position: Deputy Care Manager Day ShiftLocation: HornseaSalary: 31kMayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Deputy Care Manager in the Hornsea area on a permanent basis. In this position, the Deputy Care Manager will need experience working in a senior position and will be reporting to the registered Home Manager. The home cares for adults with Aspergers, Schizophrenia or eating disorders to age-related illnesses or Dementia.Responsibilities Manage the day to day delivery of a high quality, evidence-based person centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with mental health conditions. Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice and developments. Oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service. Maintain up to date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance. Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Councils standards and guidance. Ensure Information Governance and confidentiality is adhered to at all timesRequirementsQualifications essential /Desirable Qualification in Dementia, mental health or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Current registration not essential.
