We are recruiting for a Civil QC Supervisor for a long term contract role, to work on site on behalf of our client, a major engineering contractor operating within the energy sector. As Civil QC Supervisor , you will report to the Quality Control manager. You will be part of a Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage project, and will supervise a team of 4-5 inspectors. You will ensure the Quality Control Plans are correctly carried on with reference to civil activities and liaise with our client daily. The Role: Supervise and witness inspections, check the correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans, reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records also for subcontracted activities Verify the preparation of the Quality works dossier for final handover to the Document Controller Check the availability and adequacy of consumables and equipment / instrumentation used for civil execution and control Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, calibrated, identified and traceable Support the definition of QC Information System rules Support and check the evaluation of the qualification of inspection personnel in charge of works, verify work procedures including those relating to special processes Verify that the NCR management process is in place and effective Verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to QC Plans and Inspection Test Plans, checking the collection of relevant documentation also for the mechanical completion approval, and that personnel have access to all required project documentation Requirements: 7 years as Civil QC Supervisor and 15 years in QC activities in the Oil & Gas industry or similar Degree in civil engineering or equivalent ISO9001- 2015 certification Quality Control inspection skills Job Details: Start date: ASAP Duration: 12 months+ Full time contract role - Outside IR35 Location: North Wales Working hours: 5 days per week plus Saturday mornings when required Rate: 575 - 630 / day All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK TPBN1_UKTJ
