Full job description Part Time Gymnastics Coaching Opportunity (Self Employed) Holbeach & Fenland Gymnastics Club, based in Long Sutton Lincolnshire has an exciting opportunity for Level 1 & Level 2 and Recreational Gymnastics Coaches to join the team. Location: Long Sutton, Lincolnshire Rate: 18.00 - 45.00 per session (depending on session length and qualification) About Us We are a small CASC Registered Gymnastics Club based in rural Lincolnshire. We currently have 180 Recreational Gymnasts on our register, which is offered to all children aged 4+.In addition to this we have a Competitive Womens Artistic Squad and a Competitive Mixed Tumble Squad which are made up of children aged 4-17 that have progressed through from our recreational sessions and been invited to join one of the squads.We currently have a small waiting list for recreational sessions. We do not currently offer a preschool session, but this is something we would like to be able to offer in the future.We currently follow the British Gymnastics Rise Programme in the club. The Role of Gymnastics Coach: As a Gymnastics Coach, youll play a key role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring environment. Youll help children and young people build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy every moment of their gymnastics journey. What are we looking for? We are looking for both Level 1 & Level 2 Gymnastics coaches - ideally in Tumble, Womens Artistic, and/or Gymnastics Activity Instructors (If these qualifications are not currently held but you have experience of coaching gymnastics or are an ex-gymnast yourself and are interested in obtaining these qualifications then please still apply.) Responsibilities: Creating a positive, fun atmosphere that encourages all gymnasts to excel. Leading and supporting classes with professionalism and a supportive approach. Maintaining a safe, positive and well-organised environment with great coaching practices. Help gymnasts develop their skills, regardless of age, ability, or background & provide positive feedback and guidance to gymnasts to help them improve their skills Managing time effectively and ensuring classes run smoothly and to time Prepare gymnasts for competitions and performances which may include creating basic floor routines Monitor and track progress of gymnasts Setting up and taking down equipment safely. Assisting with administrative tasks to support team goals. Be able to commit to working a minimum of 1 Saturday in 4 plus 1 3 weeknight sessions. Experience / Qualifications: Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or participation in competitive gymnastics Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and routines Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals of all ages British Gymnastics Qualification in Gymnastics Coaching.
