Design Manager

Job Description Main contractor requires a Design Manager to work on-site to manage and coordinate design information for a live industrial, logistics, or commercial project. There are several live and upcoming projects in the Home Counties to the North and West of London, so location may vary depending on project requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager to lead the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, working within a company that values collaboration, professional development, and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Manage consultant teams, specifications, drawings, and technical documentationLead design team meetings with stakeholders and subcontract designersOversee design submissions for planning, building control, and approvalsEnsure compliance with BREEAM, building regulations, and relevant legislationProvide design input into procurement packages and technical queriesDrive buildability, value-engineering, and programme alignmentSupport company quality, environmental, and safety proceduresIdeal Candidate:Extensive design management experience within main contractingTrack record delivering industrial, logistics, or commercial projectsStrong technical understanding and commercial awarenessExcellent leadership and coordination skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and design coordination toolsIf you believe you are a strong fit for this position, please apply via the link.
