Engineering Team Leader

Job Description Hands-on role leading and developing a small team to provide engineering design, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement to a wide range of air movement products and innovative designs for future requirements. We are seeking someone with a strong project engineering skills with an electronics or mechanical background that has experience of leading a team.Office based :Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:00.Lead and develop a multidisciplined team through R&D, design and production engineeringLeadengineeringprojectswithclearstrategicdirectionandeffectiveresourceplanningEnsuretimelines,budgets,andqualitystandardsareconsistentlymetMonitor team performance and support professional developmentOversee recruitment, training, and succession planning for the engineering teamProduct Design & DevelopmentManage the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping to testing, certification, and manufacturing handoverEnsure products comply with ventilation, energy efficiency, and safety standardsCollaborate with product management to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutionsTechnical & Regulatory OversightEnsure designs comply with relevant industry regulations, building regulations and standards, and environmental and sustainability directivesOversee product testing, validation, and certificationDegree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)4+ years engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership roleUnderstanding of relevant manufacturing standards and regulationsExperience with CAD - SolidWorksStrong project management experienceStrong technical problem solver with a practical, hands-on approachEffective project management applicationJBRP1_UKTJ
