Job Description EstimatorHigh WycomeUp to 90k plus packageAbout the company:Our client is a leading SME developer specializing in a diverse portfolio of residential properties across multiple locations in the South East.They offer a wide range of housing options, including houses, apartments and pride themsleves on building to a high specification.About the opportunity:As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for our residential developments, from land appraisal through to construction and handover. Youll play a vital role in shaping the financial success of each project.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for new and existing residential developmentsConduct feasibility assessments and cost planning for land acquisitionsCollaborate with design, planning, and construction teams to develop accurate budgetsIdentify cost risks and provide value engineering solutionsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor, and market trendsLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricingAbout the benefits and rewards:The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to 90k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.About the requirements:Expereince in a residential estimating roleStrong understanding of the full development lifecycleProficient in estimating software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent numerical and analytical skillsStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesRelevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or similar field
