Role Overview: Manager of Events & Operations Location: Hertfordshire Salary: 45,000 per annum We are seeking a dedicated and organized Manager of Events & Operations to join our dynamic team based in Hertfordshire. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the operational and logistical delivery of our eventsfrom initial inquiry to final execution. You will collaborate across departments, manage proposals, oversee supplier relationships, ensure compliance, and coordinate staffing to maintain our high standards. This is a fast-paced, hands-on management position that offers the opportunity to lead exciting and diverse events throughout London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Logistics Management - Oversee daily operations and logistics for catering events, ensuring smooth and timely delivery. - Coordinate kitchen production and ensure that all necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are in place for each event. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best resources. - Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed, maintaining an organized storage system. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all events. - Lead the creation of event proposals and budgets, providing logistical insights for effective planning. Event Coordination Leadership - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the event planning process, ensuring exceptional service. - Collaborate with various teams to ensure all aspects of the event are executed seamlessly. - Lead the coordination and management of event staffing, including hiring, training, and scheduling personnel. - Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all details align with client expectations and standards. Administrative Oversight - Maintain accurate records of event logistics, contracts, and communications. - Prepare post-event reports and summaries to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement. - Support marketing efforts by contributing to event promotion and outreach initiatives. Qualifications - Proven experience in event management or coordination, hospitality, or a related field. - Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Proficient in Microsoft
