This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor or FCILEx qualified professional with at least 2 years' PQE to take ownership of a varied caseload across employment law and general litigation, in a supportive yet ambitious environment. The successful candidate will have experience advising and representing both individuals and corporate clients in a wide range of employment matters, and a solid grounding in general dispute resolution. This role offers exposure to contentious and non-contentious employment law, tribunal and court representation, and wider business litigation. This role is ideal for a motivated employment/dispute resolution solicitor looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive firm, with a clear path for development, exposure to a broad caseload, and a strong focus on both personal and professional wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent and advise clients in employment law matters including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination claims, and disciplinary mattersDraft contracts of employment, staff handbooks, policies, and settlement agreementsAdvise on employee terminations, redundancies, restructures, and boardroom disputesConduct internal investigations and advise on disciplinary proceduresWork with clients across litigation matters in both corporate and individual contextsContribute to business development and marketing initiatives for the team and firmManage own caseload independently while collaborating with colleaguesThe CandidateSolicitor or FCILEx qualified with 2+ years' PQE in employment law and litigationExperience representing clients in tribunals and courtsStrong drafting skills for employment contracts, policies, and agreementsConfident, proactive, and able to manage cases independentlyCommercially aware and interested in business developmentTeam player with a positive attitude, professionalism, and excellent judgementClean driving licence and ability to travel to client meetings where requiredBenefits & CultureStructured career development and progressionSupportive environment with mentoring, monthly one-to-ones, team meetings, and appraisalsFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsFirm-wide and fee-earner bonus schemes25 days holiday per year, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 daysContributory corporate pension schemeEmployee Assistance Programme for wellbeing supportAccess to Healthcare Cash Plan after probation, extendable to dependentsComprehensive employee financial wellbeing platformSocial and wellbeing initiativesJBRP1_UKTJ
