Trade Compliance Manager

Technical Network has been retained with a major manufacturing business who are seeking an International Trade Compliance Manager to lead and develop the ITC function, ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and US (EAR/ITAR) export regulations.Trade Compliance Manager Salary c£60-65000 + benefitsLocation: Herefordshire (relocation assistance)Key Responsibilities:o Ensure business compliance for all oversees trade activity in line with ITAR and EAR regulations and dual use strategic export control lists.o Maintain ITC processes, promoting accountability and ownership.o Oversee export/import licensing and authorisations. Provide expert guidance & training on UKML, Dual-Use, ITAR, EAR, and related regulations. o Drive continuous improvement and automation of ITC processes. o Advise leadership on authorisation strategies and compliance risk. o Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across departments. Experience & Skills:Applications are sought from experienced Trade Compliance or Customs Compliance or Export/ Import Management professionals with knowledge of UK, EU, and US export regulations (ITAR, EAR, UKML, etc.). o Knowledge of export & import regulations, international shipping processes, export declarations, invoicing o Maintain, develop & audit internal trade compliance processes & procedureso Ability to deliver internal training on trade compliance processo Proactive, analytical, and confident in managing change and compliance. o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
