Based in Herefordshire, the team is friendly and passionate about working with exciting new technology and developing innovative methods and techniques.This role would suit a laboratory operations manager looking to develop with the growth of the business into a longer term, senior opportunity.The candidate:Experience of managing a busy lab environment, ideally another CROExposure to histology and immunohistochemistryExperience of quality management systems, ideally GLP and GCPExperience of managing and developing teamsAble to communicate (in written and verbal form) clearly, confidently and expertlyHighly motivated, confident, pro-active and able to work independentlyAble to work on site five days per weekA science graduate with a relevant degreeThe role:Managing the laboratory facility based in HerefordSupporting the Head of Molecular Pathology to manage a team of 20 scientists and techniciansEnsuring smooth and timely delivery of client projectsLiaison with Sponsors on technical requirementsParticipation in regulatory and Sponsor QA auditsEnsuring compliance with GLP and GCP requirementsManaging all operational requirements of the laboratory (with support from other team members)
