ob Title: Yard Shunter (AM Shift) Location: Hereford Pay Rates: 16.50 per hour (Monday-Friday AM shifts) 19.50 per hour (Weekends) Job Type: Ongoing Work Overview: We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Shunter to join our team in Hereford. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent AM shift work with competitive weekday and enhanced weekend pay rates. Key Responsibilities: Safely manoeuvring vehicles and trailers within the yard Coupling and uncoupling trailers Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading/unloading Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting defects Working closely with the warehouse and transport teams to maintain efficient operations Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence preferred (may consider experienced shunters without) Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card (if applicable) Previous shunting or yard experience is essential Good awareness of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Shift Pattern: AM starts (exact times to be confirmed) Weekend availability required What We Offer: Competitive pay rates with enhanced weekend pay Stable, ongoing work Supportive working environment Opportunity for long-term employment If you're an experienced shunter looking for work Get in touch via: 01905 20547 and ask for Ellis or Nathan TPBN1_UKTJ
