Planning & Logistics Specialist Salary: 30,000+ Benefits Location: Hemel Hempstead Sector: Aerospace Reports To: Customer Service Lead About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planning & Logistics Specialist to join our clients Customer Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining order book integrity within Javelin (MRP) and associated systems overseeing the full cycle from order input through to shipment and invoicing. You will play a key role in supporting production planning, ensuring accuracy across transactional processes, and driving continuous improvement in logistical operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and improve the order book management process , ensuring all sales and production orders are accurately loaded into Javelin (MRP) and customer demand portals are updated accordingly. Plan and release shop order requirements in line with MRP and/or level scheduling needs. Compile and prepare production documentation for shop floor release, including job cards, drawings, and customer specifications. Proactively track and update production work orders in accordance with schedule changes. Support the Customer Service Lead in raising dispatch documentation , including delivery notes, invoices, certificates of conformity, and shipping paperwork. Work collaboratively with the operations team to identify and lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: A good standard of general education. Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organisational and communication skills (written and verbal). Customer-oriented with a professional approach. Knowledge of MRP/Production Control Systems . Proven production administration experience , with a strong understanding of accuracy, traceability, and accountability. Desirable Requirements: Experience working within an aerospace manufacturing environment . Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production scheduling. TPBN1_UKTJ
