Job Description Trainee Intelligence AnalystThe Army - United KingdomFrom 26,334 a yearBecome a military intelligence expert.As a full-time soldier, entry-level Intelligence Operative, youll:Become a subject matter expert in a country or enemy threatPatrol with the infantry to gather and analyse information on local developmentsWrite reports that inform officers and brief politiciansHelp senior commanders make important decisionsWork in high-security environments from unit headquarters to government departmentsTo qualify, you must be between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months, pass a basic fitness test, and have GCSEs grade A-C/9-4 in at least English Language and four other subjects. You must have at least Numeracy Level 2.Set yourself up for life.During your initial training, youll earn 26,334 after which your salary will rise to 34,083 on completion of Phase 2 training as you join your unit as a Lance Corporal.Youll also receive 38 days annual leave every year (plus bank holidays and extra leave after operations), free medical and dental care, cheaper living costs, and free gym and sports facilities.
