What's the Job About?We’re seeking a proactive Incident Planning & Business Continuity Manager to strengthen our emergency preparedness and organisational resilience across COMAH operations and critical national infrastructure. You’ll lead the development and implementation of emergency and continuity plans, coordinate risk assessments, and deliver training and exercises across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and test emergency response and business continuity plansLead risk assessments, business impact analyses, and recovery strategiesCoordinate with emergency services, regulators, and local resilience forumsDesign and deliver training for incident response and continuity planningServe as the point of contact during incidents and disruptionsLead post-incident reviews and embed lessons learnedEnsure regulatory compliance (e.g., COMAH) and monitor emerging threats What do we need from you:Proven experience in Emergency Planning, Business Continuity, Risk Management or other resilience disciplines.Prior experience with national legislative frameworks, policies and procedures including COMAH.Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during emergencies.Competent in delivering presentations and trainingStrong analytical skills, able to analyse business and technology requirementsExperience of Resilience Direct software would be advantageous but not essentialValid and full driving licence SalaryBasic salary of £48,000 - £52,000 + benefits What’s on offer:Generous pension (up to 12% employer contribution, 2% employee)Annual bonus scheme (up to 12% of annual salary)Life insurance (4x annual salary)28 days holiday + 8 days bank holidaysAdditional holiday purchase schemeFamily friendly policiesEmployee assistance support schemeVarious well-being initiativesTools/Equipment Diversity & InclusionWe know that diverse teams drive innovation and excellence.
