A growing business is looking for a Care Manager to provide high quality homecare services that support the rights of clients to live the lives they choose as far as they are able. You will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the business, allocating resources and monitoring performance to deliver high quality homecare to customers, within budget. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £37,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits. As Care Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the safety and quality of the businessTaking responsibility for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and proceduresUndertaking training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practice and changes in company policy.Understanding and monitoring health and safety in the workplace and in the field.Maintaining full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements.Implementing quality management and improvement systems. Effectively managing complaints and incidents and carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service, using findings to make improvementsMaking sure a written individually tailored care and support plan has been created and agreed, that respects the customers wishes and promotes their dignity and privacyAgreeing appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risksManaging the effective recruitment, induction and training of the coordinator(s), supervisor(s), care workers and other support staff.Identifying ongoing training needs and ensuring staff are up to date with current best practiceCarrying out appraisals and monitoring of staff performanceEnsuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls either directly or indirectly when care workers are sick or absentAttending external meetings and represent the service in a positive manner Were looking for a Care Manager with: Experience of care services, risk assessment and person-centred care and supportExperience of managing and developing an effective staff team including recruitment, training, supporting and supervising staffAbility to maintain clear written and electronic records and to follow statutory reporting proceduresWillingness to work flexibly and to keep knowledge and skills up to date.Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service formally known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) DisclosureFull drivers licenceExperience of managing the delivery of social care services as a Care ManagerTrain the trainer qualificationsKnowledge of business management To apply for this role, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
