ROLECNC Turner Setter Operator – Aerospace ComponentsSALARYCompetitive + Overtime + BenefitsLOCATIONHemel Hempstead, HertfordshireThe company:Join a precision engineering leader supplying high-specification components to the aerospace sector. You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team, producing small-to-medium batch, complex components for high-profile aerospace clients.The role:You will set and operate CNC lathes to tight tolerances, working closely with the Milling and Turning teams to deliver exceptional safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role includes setting and operating CNC Lathes.Key Responsibilities:Set and operate two-axis CNC lathes to customer specificationsWork with Planning, Quality, and other teams on repeat and NPI workMaintain tight tolerancesUphold 6S standards on the shop floorTake part in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiativesProblem-solve when setting and have a basic understanding of programming/code readingWhat we are looking for:Aerospace or similar high-precision engineering experienceSkilled in setting and operating CNC lathes (Comfortable with a range of metallic materialsApprentice trained or qualified by experienceAble to work unsupervised with strong problem-solving skillsBackground in motorsport, oil & gas, or aerospace preferredThis is a late shift role working Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1:30pm paying up to £19.50 per hour for the right candidate.If of interest click to apply and Kieran Evans will be in contact to discuss the finer details.
