You'll share our values and contribute positively to our practice culture.Main Duties of the Job The Role4-6 sessions per week (working days: TBC/Flexible)Established SystmOne practice, supported by Ardens and AccurxTriage system introduced in June 2024, supported by a dedicated Triage Hub including GPs, ANPs, and ParamedicsStructured clinics with 12 appointments per sessionSome sessions include educational supervision, with a maximum of 24 appointments per day to support a sustainable workloadResponsibilitiesa.Thedelivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationb.Theprovision of services commensurate with the GMS contractc.Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidanced.Effectivemanagement of long‑term conditionse.Processingof administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksf.Ona rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor rolesg.Maintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceh.Workingcollaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadi.Adhereto best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processj.Contributeto the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practicek.Acceptdelegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) for the QOFl.Attendand contribute effectively to practice meetings as requiredm.Contributeeffective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance, training, financial management and HRn.Ensurecompliance with the appraisal processo.Prepareand complete the revalidation processmitto self‑learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice teamq.Supportthe training of medical students from all clinical disciplinesr.Supportthe partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditures.Reviewand adhere to practice protocols and policies at all timest.Encouragecollaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all timesQualificationsSee attachedDisclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.UK Registration Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
