Building Services Manager

Job DescriptionMorgan Hunt is currently recruiting for a Building Services Manager with a mechanical bias to oversee operations on a key site in Helensburgh. This position involves the comprehensive management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) elements across all phases of construction, from initial planning through to final commissioning.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all MEP-related works are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with technical and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Leading the coordination and delivery of MEP services throughout the project lifecycleProviding input during the pre-construction phase to influence design and planning decisionsManaging the integration of mechanical and electrical systems on siteSupervising the commissioning process to ensure full compliance with specificationsMonitoring progress and quality of installations carried out by specialist contractorsReviewing technical documentation and submittals from subcontractorsSupporting the design management process for mechanical and electrical packagesCompiling progress updates and technical reports for senior stakeholdersRequirements:Hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (Degree, HND, or SVQ)Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical design and installationPossess experience working with a main contractor or large MEP contractor
