We have grown the fleet significantly and have top of the range innovative equipment.Job DescriptionExcavation Engineer Hebburn Permanent, full-time Competitive salary, Enhanced Overtime Rates plus benefitsYou will carry out all aspects of drain installation and repair, including excavating, trench support and reinstatements.More about the role:Key ResponsibilitiesWorking in confined spacesDrain installation and repair including Section 104 work, CIPP Lining and Patch RepairThorough completion of site/works information on a tablet deviceCarry out work in line with company health and safety policy and proceduresGood time management and working efficientlyCompleting Drivers Hours Books and Vehicle Checks (Defect books)General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipmentBe prepared to work weekends and away from homeUndertake all training and development as requiredTo understand risk assessments and to assess according to safe systems of work.Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification.Undertaken training on General Health & Safety awareness/ Risk Assessment awareness/Traffic Management/ Use of PDA as required by the company.Ability to use small plant and equipment.QualificationsAbout you:Driving license required (preferably including towing over 750kg)CSCS Card requiredFull Street Works accreditation (operative or supervisor)Excavator up to 20 ton (preferred)Forward tipping dumperConfined Space Accreditation - Medium RiskDriven and enthusiasticExcellent customer service and communication skillsFocus, thoroughness and keen attention to detailSolid problem solving and decision-making abilityCommitment to service excellence demonstrating a 'can do' attitudeAbility to work under pressure and to deliver results to strict/tight deadlinesAbsolute willingness to work outside in all weather conditionsWork on the Public HighwayProfessional and flexible approach to workDrain lining and patching experience (preferred)Must be able to work as part of a team or under own initiativeAdditional InformationWhat we can offer you:Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leaveCompany pension Life assurance scheme (x4 salary)Medicare Cash Plan (includes cash payments towards dental, medical, therapeutic treatments) with the option to add up to 4 dependantsRefer a friend schemeEmployee assistance programme (access to GP appointments and mental health support)Competitive annual leave plus bank holidays Training and career progression opportunitiesAdler and Allan are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
