Job Description CAD TechnicianHaverhill, SuffolkUp to 40,000Theres a difference between drawing something that looks right and drawing something that works.Our client, a well-established retail design and manufacturing business, is looking to strengthen its Haverhill team with a CAD Technician who understands the realities of production. They design and manufacture retail and point of sale environments, combining creative intent with in-house joinery, metal fabrication and overseas manufacture.This role sits firmly on the technical side of that process.You will take approved concepts and develop them into accurate, production-ready drawing packs. Youll consider materials, tolerances, fixings and assembly methods. Youll think about how something is built before it ever reaches the workshop floor.Your focusDeveloping detailed 3D CAD models for retail fixtures and display systemsTranslating concepts into fully resolved manufacturing drawingsProducing assembly drawings, component schedules and fabrication detailsEnsuring all technical output aligns with production standards and capabilitiesCoordinating with joinery and metalwork teams to resolve practical challengesSupporting overseas production partners with clear documentationMaintaining structured, accurate drawing records and revisionsThis is a delivery-driven technical role.
