CNC Machinist

Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering company based in Havant, UK. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team environment with long-term stability and development potential.Shift Pattern:Monday to Thursday: 14:30 22:30 ( hour lunch)Friday: 12:30 20:00Key Responsibilities:Operate and set CNC machines (Mazak preferred)Follow health and safety policies at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)Meet production targets and deadlinesEnsure quality and process complianceSupport continuous improvement activitiesCross-train and support team flexibilityAssist with training others when neededRequirements:GCSEs or equivalentTime-served apprenticeship (preferred)Experience in engineering/manufacturingExperience of CNC machining Milling and turning experience (preferred)Able to read engineering drawings and CNC code (G-code/Mazatrol)Familiar with Mazak machinesExperience with offline programming (Edgecam, Mastercam, Mazatrol) is a plusComfortable using Microsoft Office
