You will be responsible for carrying out full electrical and minor mechanical works required to complete the installation, commissioning and testing of diesel generators, UPS systems and automated control switchgear within critical power environments.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation operating within the critical power sector, delivering solutions across utilities, healthcare, law enforcement and other essential industriesHSB Technicals client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrical Installation Engineer:Carry out electrical and minor mechanical works required for installation and commissioning of generators, control panels, fuel systems and associated equipment Install diesel generators and UPS systems including automated transfer switchgear Ensure all installations comply with current wiring regulations and applicable codes of practiceRead and interpret electrical schematics, drawings and technical specificationsDiagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults during installation and commissioning phasesSupport site surveys and assist in project delivery activitiesProvide basic technical training and handover support to clientsEnsure all installations meet statutory, environmental and regulatory requirementsInstall systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practiceAdhere to company Health & Safety policies at all timesAssist with commissioning and final client handover Qualifications and requirements for the (insert job title):Qualified Electrical Installation EngineerBS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)ECS Gold Card (Essential)Proven experience working with generators, control systems, fuel systems and critical power equipmentStrong understanding of current electrical regulations and installation standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsExperience with fault diagnosis and commissioning of electrical/control systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to undergo security clearance where requiredFull UK Driving Licence (Essential)This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.JBRP1_UKTJ
