Vehicle Technician - Hatfield Prestige Automotive BrandWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join one of the world's most iconic and prestigious automotive brands at their state-of-the-art facility in Hatfield.Requirements:Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (or equivalent qualification)Previous experience working within a franchised or prestige automotive dealershipFull UK Driver's LicenceThe Role:As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing vehicles renowned for their engineering excellence and performance. You'll work closely with a professional Service Team to diagnose faults, carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure all work meets the manufacturer's premium standards.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools and equipmentCarry out service and repair work across a diverse, high-performance vehicle rangeConduct road tests to confirm repair quality and vehicle performanceMaintain accurate records of all work completed, parts used, and any issues identifiedCommunicate effectively with the Service Team and customers regarding findings and recommendationsAdhere to all safety, quality, and brand service standardsKeep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair proceduresMinimum Qualifications & Skills:Full (Category B) driving licence, ideally held for a minimum of two yearsLevel 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair CompetenceProven experience within a franchised dealership environmentExcellent mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsA strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering work to premium standardsDesirable Qualifications:Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle MaintenanceLevel 3 Diploma in Auto-Electrical and Mobile Electrical OperationsLevel 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and ReplacementExperience working with luxury or high-performance vehiclesWhat's on Offer:Competitive base salary plus monthly performance bonusesGuaranteed bonus during the first three months of employmentClear salary progression linked to training and accreditation with the brand33 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus additional days for long serviceFixed working hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:00am-1:00pm)Preferential vehicle lease schemeDiscounts on a wide range of retail, leisure, and lifestyle productsLife assurance and pension schemeEmployee Assistance Programme with wellbeing supportDedicated mental health champions and employee representation bodyFull branded uniform provided, including premium workwear and safety equipmentLocation:The Hatfield site is a modern, purpose-built facility with free on-site parking and excellent staff amenities, including refurbished communal areas with social spaces and recreational facilities.Application Process:This position is being managed by a recruitment partner on behalf of an iconic prestige automotive brand.
