HGV Fitter / Panel Beater Location : Welham Green, Hatfield, Hertfordshire Salary: 41,000 - 50,000 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits! We are a respected, family-run commercial vehicle repair centre and we are now seeking an experienced HGV MET Technician / Panel Beater to join our busy and professional workshop team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and a background in commercial vehicle or bodyshop repair. The Role You will play a vital part in the repair and rebuild process, carrying out vehicle stripping, refitting, and supporting panel repairs to a high standard of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Strip and refit HGV / LGV vehicles and components Support panel repair and replacement work Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment confidently Identify, label, and organise parts for repair or replacement Assist in ensuring efficient repair turnaround times Maintain the highest levels of workmanship and safety standards What We're Looking For Proven experience as an MET Stripper / Fitter, Panel Beater, or similar role Strong mechanical understanding of commercial vehicles Experience in a workshop or body shop environment Competent with tools and diagnostic equipment Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY !
