Job Description HGV Fitter / Panel BeaterLocation: Welham Green, Hatfield, HertfordshireSalary: 41,000 - 50,000 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits!Contract: Full time, PermanentBenefits: Monday to Friday (no weekend work), Attendance bonus, Overtime available and a stable position within a trusted, family-run business!We are a respected, family-run commercial vehicle repair centre and we are now seeking an experienced HGV MET Technician / Panel Beater to join our busy and professional workshop team.This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and a background in commercial vehicle or bodyshop repair.The RoleYou will play a vital part in the repair and rebuild process, carrying out vehicle stripping, refitting, and supporting panel repairs to a high standard of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesStrip and refit HGV / LGV vehicles and componentsSupport panel repair and replacement workUse hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment confidentlyIdentify, label, and organise parts for repair or replacementAssist in ensuring efficient repair turnaround timesMaintain the highest levels of workmanship and safety standardsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as an MET Stripper / Fitter, Panel Beater, or similar roleStrong mechanical understanding of commercial vehiclesExperience in a workshop or body shop environmentCompetent with tools and diagnostic equipmentPhysically fit and comfortable with manual tasksIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY!JBRP1_UKTJ
