Position: Support Worker Location: St Leonards, Hastings Contract Type: Part-time (3-4 afternoon shifts per week) Shifts: 10am-4pm or 12pm-4pm Week 1 Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12pm-4pm & Saturday/Sunday 10am-4pm Week 2 Tuesday, Thursday 12pm-4pm & Saturday/Sunday 10am-4pm Who We're Looking For: Male Support Workers : Due to the nature of the role, we require male support workers to meet genuine occupational requirements for this client. About the Role: We're looking for an outgoing, energetic, and spontaneous Support Worker to support a 16-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, non-verbal, anxiety, OCD, and challenging behaviors. This role offers a unique opportunity to help him thrive both at home and in the community. Our client is a fun-loving, adventurous 16-year-old who enjoys being on the move and loves to explore. He has specific needs but also a great sense of joy, and we need a Support Worker who can match his energy, enthusiasm, and love for adventure. Your Key Responsibilities: Support the client with personal care, medication, and daily activities. Supporting the client with moving and handling; our client is mobile but due to a medical condition is spending more time using a wheelchair to ease his pain. Provide guidance in managing challenging behaviors and build a trusting, positive rapport. Take the client on exciting community outings and physical adventureshe loves staying active and trying new things! Work alongside another support worker during each shift for team-based support.
