Senior Electronic Engineer

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Analogue Electronics Engineer to take a technical lead role in the creation and delivery of complex electronic designs. This position offers handson involvement throughout the entire product development cycle, from shaping early concepts through to integrating and validating finished hardware.The contract is outside IR35, initial 6 months, hybrid (circa 3 days onsite).Although many projects support defencefocused equipment and secure systems, applicants with relevant knowledge from similarly demanding, highintegrity sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering group, you'll apply your specialist analogue hardware expertise to guide design decisions and ensure robust, highquality outcomes.Responsibilities:Interpreting and analysing customerlevel requirements to define suitable hardware approachesProducing and modifying electronic architectures and detailed circuit designsUsing simulation and modelling tools to verify behaviour and support testbench creationParticipating in peer and formal design reviewsMaintaining strong configuration control across hardware artefactsSupporting hardware bringup, integration and systemlevel commissioningCollaborating with manufacturing and test teams during build, debug and verification stagesExperience/expertise:Strong background in analogue circuit design (e.g., amplifiers, oscillators, filtering, lownoise and precision circuits)Understanding of signal integrity, EMC considerations, and good hardware layout practicesKnowledge of mixedsignal design and experience with ADCs, DACs, and associated interfacesExperience in designing and reviewing power supply and powermanagement circuitryConfident use of lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and related toolsAbility to define, document, and verify hardware against clear requirement setsFamiliarity with creating and modifying analogue and digital hardware modulesHandson involvement in systemlevel commissioning and troubleshootingExperience supporting the transition of designs into production and test environmentsExposure to development frameworks or guidelines similar to RTCA/DO254 (or equivalent highintegrity hardware processes)Current Security Clearance would be beneficial, eligibility for SC is essential Initial 6 months, outside IR35, hybrid (circa 3 days onsite).
