Role OverviewIn order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.GE Vernova Offshore Wind is seeking an experienced SOV Commissioning Manager to support offshore commissioning activities on the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm, the worlds largest offshore wind project.The role is offshore-based and embedded onboard a Service Operation Vessel (SOV), with full responsibility for the execution and coordination of offshore commissioning activities, including energisation readiness, test & run, and handover between offshore rotations.This is a hands-on commissioning leadership role, not a client representative or inspection position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise all offshore commissioning activities within SOV scopeExecute and support electrical and HV commissioning, including energisation and test & run preparationCoordinate daily activities with installation teams, associated works contractors and marine operationsPrepare and issue daily offshore progress reports and look-ahead plans (3 & 7 day)Provide direct leadership to offshore commissioning teams and ensure effective handovers between rotationsEnsure commissioning activities are delivered in line with GE Vernova commissioning strategy, quality standards and EHS requirementsSupport commissioning documentation, test plans, checklists and turnover to operationsAct as the offshore focal point for commissioning coordination and issue escalationRequired ExperienceProven experience in offshore commissioning leadership rolesStrong background in electrical and high-voltage (HV) systems commissioningExperience supporting or leading energisation and test & run activities offshorePrevious offshore wind, offshore power or complex offshore energy project experienceComfortable working xjdpvnf offshore on rotation and leading teams onboard vesselsQualificationsDegree or equivalent experience in Electrical / Electronic EngineeringHV commissioning experience (SAP experience advantageous)Strong understanding of offshore EHS and quality processesIdeal Candidate ProfileOffshore Commissioning Manager / Lead / SupervisorElectrical or HV commissioning specialist with offshore execution experienceContractor mindset with experience working on rotational offshore projectsConfident leading offshore teams in live commissioning environments
